Happy New Year. That clip is superb: these guys clearly have too much time on their hands, but if that's what they come up with ... maybe it isn't a bad thing.
I was guessing that they used ride-on mowers (or such) which they then painted out by superimposing the relevant area from neighbouring frames. There are what look like tyre tracks on the grass in one of the sequences ...
People have wondered what washouts from Jedi training do with themselves, in the Star Wars universe. If they're slackers, I suppose they would spend their time like these guys.
